when i click on the email link on my yahoo beta, i get redirect to a krishna_barani email. this does not happen with the old my yahoo page.

I suggest switching back to the original Yahoo Mail until more Beta problems are resolved. I switch back and forth all the time using the Switch Back link in the upper left corner near your Yahoo ID.
You may also try updating your Java version and deleting cache and Yahoo cookie files.
