Spyware or Virus? What's wrong with my Computer?? help..?

When I do a search on google or yahoo, website will come up as normal. But, when I click on a site like wikipedia, it will redirect me to some random search engine or sites like amazon.com. What's up with that? What can I do to get rid of this? Do I have a virus? or Spyware?

I have protection running on my computer every now and then too...why is this happening still?

Sounds like spywear to me, have a look for a program called Ad-Aware, its a program to remove spywear and it's free.

Also if you don't have an Antivirus program, download the free version of AVG

sounds more like spyware than a virus, if you have a spyware software run it, and always run your antivirus, and keep updateing it.
maybe its a adware/spyware. what anti-virus/anti-spyware are you using??

You gotta hate these annoyances. Try a system restore. 9 out of 10 times it will work. Go to Start, Accessories, systme tools, and system restore. If all else fails, save all your documents, and reformat the computer.
you have to use a good antispyware like the windows defender, which can be downloaded free, for a licensed copy of windows. Other free alternatives are ad-aware, spybot s%26amp;d, avg free etc.

you can use one or more of these programs to detect and remove the problem.
