can anyone tell me how do popular software website let users download the softwares without redirecting them to the orignal homepage of the product. i think that they do not host the software they just provide the link where it is originally hosted by the authoried company. i mean how do they get the link address of the product??

They probably just have a direct url to the download. Not the url to the page of the website that produced the software. You can right-click a download url in some cases and get the download url instead of the page url.
In big sites like www.download.com their programs are usually for either trial, freeware products. For full programs, then you obviously would have to go pirate the software, which we all know is a big no-no. As far as for pirated software, they usually upload those programs to sites and give out that link.
